Qatar Sporting Club is a sports organization with its headquarters in Doha, Qatar. It is best known for its Qatar Stars League-playing football team. Al-Oruba and Al-Nasour, two Qatari football clubs, merged to form the club in 1961. The Qatar SC Stadium, which can hold 15,000 spectators, is where they play their home games. In recent years, it has expanded beyond football into other sports. A team for athletics has been formed, and this division participates in sprinting, long jumps, and javelin throwing. In 1981, the club changed its name to Qatar SC.
