Melbourne City Football Club is an Australian professional soccer club based in the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Cranbourne East. The club competes in the A-League, Australia's top level of soccer, under a license from Australian Professional Leagues (APL). Melbourne City has won two A-League Men premierships, one championship, and one FFA Cup since its inception in 2009. (in 2016). The club plays its home games at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium, also known commercially as AAMI Park, a 30,050 seat multi-use venue in Melbourne's City Centre.
