"Club De Lyon, is an Orlando-based team. Unfortunately, my experience with the club was far from professional. One of the major issues is that the team does not have a true home base or training facility. We often found ourselves practicing in random parks without proper locker rooms, sometimes lacking even basic necessities like coaches or trainers. The inconsistency in preparation created a difficult environment for players to perform at their best. Financial mismanagement was another serious issue. Many players and staff members were owed money, with the owner making numerous promises that were rarely fulfilled. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, especially for a team that claims to operate at a professional level. Traveling for away games was also a frustrating experience. The club often scheduled same-day travel, which left little time for recovery or proper preparation. When we did travel the day before, we stayed in the cheapest accommodations—sometimes even encountering rodents in our rooms. On game days, we’d be forced to check out of the hotel around noon, then spend the next five hours at whatever restaurant we could find before heading to the field. It was hardly a setup conducive to high-level performance. What’s even more disappointing is that the National Independent Soccer Association (NISA) allows these conditions to persist. Players deserve better. For any prospective player considering joining Club De Lyon, be prepared for a deeply unprofessional experience both on and off the field."
