Al-Markhiya Sports Club is a multi-sports organization in Qatar with headquarters in the Al Markhiya neighborhood of Doha. The Qatar Stars League is where its football team competes. Al-Ittifaq, the club's original name when it was formed in 1995, was changed to Al-Markhiya in 2004 to better reflect the neighborhood where it is located. The Al-Markhiya Stadium, which was constructed in 1995 and has a football field with a capacity for 200 people, locker facilities, and an administrative office, is a 68,000 m2 structure.
