Norwich City Football Club is an English professional football club based in Norwich, Norfolk. The club competes in the EFL Championship following their relegation from the Premier League in the 2021–22 season. The club was founded in 1902. Since 1935, Norwich have played their home games at Carrow Road. Norwich have won the League Cup twice, in 1962 and 1985. The club's highest ever league finish came in 1992–93 season when they finished third in the Premier League. The club is nicknamed The Canaries after the history of breeding the birds in the area, which is represented in the team's yellow-and-green kits.
