π 2025 NFL Schedule Breakdown: Super Bowl Rematches, International Showdowns, and Holiday Classics

The NFL has released its 2025 schedule, and fans are in for a thrilling season. From a Week 2 Super Bowl rematch between the Eagles and Chiefs to international games in five countries, this year’s slate is loaded with high-stakes matchups and headline-worthy storylines.
The fixtures for the new NFL season have been set.
In a Super Bowl rematch, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles will meet in Week 2 in Kansas City during the late afternoon window. In February, Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and the Eagles dominated the Chiefs 40-22 to capture their second Vince Lombardi Trophy.
Philadelphia is slated for seven stand-alone games, while Kansas City, Dallas, and Washington each lead the league with eight stand-alone matchups.
𧨠Week 1 Fireworks
There wonβt be a long wait for a marquee quarterback clash. Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills visit Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1. Allen edged Jackson for the NFL MVP last season, while Jackson was named the APβs first-team All-Pro quarterback.
Additionally, Aaron Rodgers could face his former team in Week 1 if he signs with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Steelers are set to visit the New York Jets, now led by former Steelers QB Justin Fields.
